There is huge potential room
to be developed in automobile market in china. The huge development
will be made in the automobile industry in Shanghai during
the tenth five-year plan. Shanghai Aeroengine Manufacturing
Plant (SAE) is a member of Shanghai Santana Community and
also a member of Shanghai General Motors Joint Developing
Center. For many years, it has been supplying the two corporations
with small-middle-sized pressings. Shanghai Aeroengine Manufacturing
Plant (SAE) has passed the ISO9002、QS-9000、VDA 6.1 quality
system authentication. It is the excellent supplier for Shanghai
General Motors Corporation Limited and is the model unit for
carrying out overall quality control in Shanghai. A scale
system has come into being in the production for the small-middle-sized
pressings and the weldments used in automobile in this plant.
Furthermore, it has the capacity to design and manufacture
die and fixture by itself. It has acquired the new land for
expanding the plant size.
In order to meet the increasing demand by the above two
mentioned corporations, to explore an even bigger domestic
market, and to seek compatible business opportunities in the
international market. SAE is planning to establish a joint
venture based on the existing stamping & die marking workshops.
The newly set up JV will specialize in manufacturing auto
parts & components existing stamping and dieing workshops.
Therefore we are looking for and welcome investers and copartners
home and abroad, to join us in the preparation and construction
of a bigger scaled auto parts manufacturing company. The our
objective sales revenue is targeted at a billion yuan (about
$121million).
Shanghai Aeroengine Manufacturing Plant (SAE) was founded
in 1972. Now it is the subdominant enterprise of Shanghai
Aviation Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. China Aviation Industry
Corporation (Group I), and has formed. The headquarters with
automobile spares as the main body and the system of Shanghai
Changkong Typewriter Factory, Shanghai Hangfa Machine Co.,
Ltd. And Shanghai Ogihara Dies Co., Ltd. There are currently
960 employees and 10.8 hectare area in this plant. The construction
area is 38328m2, The assets value is total amount to 1.95
hundred million yuan. During its initial period of establishment,
the plant was mainly engaged in the development of aviation
fanjet. In the early 1980s, it began to trial-produce commercial
products. In 1990s the pillar product auto parts began to
take shape after two transforms of technology. A production
line for stamping parts used in crowning level limousine was
then set up. The output value of auto parts has been growing
at a rate of 28.5% per annum in recent three years and exceeded
a hundred million yuan in 2001. Presently, the stamping parts
made by SAE can be found in all types of cars manufactured
by Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. and Shanghai General
Motors Corporation Limited. There are altogether 57 drawing
numbers for lot supply. Plus 47 drawing numbers for built-up
parts of four-type of trial-manufacturing vehicles. Shanghai
Aeroengine Manufacturing Plant is the proud owner of 37 kinds
of pressing machines less than 1000 ton, 40 welding devices,
three-coordinate measuring machines, and one large-scale NC
milling machine. It is equipped with CAD/CAM, and has the
capacity to design and manufacture the stamping die and the
checking fixture less than 8 ton.
